Successful Leadership Transition Sets Positive Tone for Upcoming School Year

leadership transition

The Central Linn School District is pleased to share that the recent transition in district leadership has been smooth and successful. With the conclusion of Cathy Hurowitz’s service as Acting Superintendent and the appointment of Dr. Robert Hess as Interim Superintendent, the district has benefited from steady, thoughtful leadership during what could have been a time of uncertainty.

We are sincerely grateful for the collaborative spirit and strong leadership both Ms. Hurowitz and Dr. Hess have shown throughout this period. Their shared dedication to student success, staff support, and district stability has helped guide us through important changes and set a positive course for the year ahead.

As we prepare for the 2025–2026 school year, we are focused on instructional excellence, building strong relationships, and creating a welcoming environment for all. With renewed energy and a commitment to teamwork and transparency, we are excited to support a successful start for every student, staff member, and school.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back this August for a great year in Central Linn!
