Title I is a federally funded program designed to help schools ensure that all students have an opportunity to meet challenging state academic standards. Title I resources may be used to provide additional instruction, intervention, learning materials, professional development, and family-engagement opportunities.

At Central Linn Elementary School, student needs are identified using multiple sources of information, which may include classroom performance, teacher observations, curriculum-based assessments, and other academic measures. Students may receive additional support individually or in small groups as part of the school’s overall instructional program.

Title I support is intended to supplement regular classroom instruction. Classroom teachers, intervention staff, specialists, and families work together to monitor progress and adjust support based on each student’s needs.

Family involvement is an important part of Title I. Families are encouraged to communicate with teachers, participate in conferences and school activities, review information about student progress, and provide input regarding family-engagement opportunities. The school provides families with information about the Title I program, academic expectations, assessments, available supports, and ways to participate in their child’s education.

Questions about Title I services, family rights, student eligibility, or available supports may be directed to Central Linn Elementary School or the Central Linn School District office.
