Athletics, activities, and clubs are an important part of the CLSD student experience. They give students opportunities to discover new interests, explore their passions, develop their gifts and talents, and build meaningful connections with classmates and trusted adults. Whether a student is drawn to competition, creativity, leadership, service, academics, career exploration, or simply trying something new, there is a place to participate and grow.
Students do not need to arrive with experience or special expertise. Participating is often how students discover abilities and interests they did not know they had. These opportunities build confidence, teamwork, perseverance, responsibility, communication, and leadership—skills that strengthen success in school and beyond.
We encourage every student to step outside their comfort zone, join a team or group, and become part of something meaningful. Try a new activity, share a talent, develop a skill, or help create an opportunity that does not yet exist. Your interests, ideas, and contributions can make CLSD stronger.
