Central Linn School District is committed to ensuring that every student has access to the supports and services they need to learn, grow, and succeed. Through our Special Education programs, we partner with students, families, educators, and service providers to develop individualized supports that help students access their education and make meaningful progress toward their goals.
Special Education services are provided to eligible students from age three through graduation or age twenty-one, depending on individual circumstances and eligibility requirements established under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Services are designed to meet each student’s unique strengths and needs and are provided in the least restrictive environment appropriate for the student.
Supports and services may include specially designed instruction, related services, accommodations, modifications, assistive technology, transition planning, and other individualized supports identified through the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process.
Central Linn believes that families are essential members of the educational team. We value collaboration and communication throughout the evaluation, eligibility, planning, and service delivery process and are committed to ensuring that students and families are active participants in educational decision-making.
